Personalized support for expats in Spain.

At Landing & Living, the goal is simple: to make your move to — and life in — Spain feel a whole lot easier. After nearly 20 years of living in Barcelona, I know firsthand what it’s like to adapt to a new country. The excitement. The overwhelm. The “where do I even start?” moments. That’s where we come in.

We’re here to provide personalized support that goes beyond just relocation. From navigating legal processes and finding a home, to choosing the right school or getting set up with a doctor you trust, we're here to connect you with the community, people and resources you actually need.

Over the years, we've built a trusted network of local professionals— each one vetted through real relationships and real results. Whether you’re a newcomer or a long-term resident looking to refresh your local connections, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

We’re here to make your life in Spain feel simpler, more connected and fully tailored to your needs.

Meet Kate -

I moved to Spain almost 20 years ago with a degree in Spanish and Cultural Studies, later earning my Master’s in Educational Management from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. What started as a post-college move turned into a full life in Barcelona — and two decades later, I’m still here, with a 5-year-old son, fluent in three languages, and officially that person people call when they need help navigating life in this city.

I worked at language academies and international schools in different capacities for 15 years, before opening my own English-language family space in the Sant Gervasi neighborhood in Barcelona. We ran classes, meetups and events, with a mix of expats and locals trying to raise their kids in a way that felt connected. And somewhere between hosting playgroups and answering school questions, I became the go-to for everything from finding a pediatrician to translating at lawyer appointments.
